Kinship Center Staff Members contribute to Award-Winning Book on Foster Care

We have some exciting news to share!  This past week, The Foster Parenting Toolbox won a Silver Award at the "IPPY" Awards! The IPPY Awards are conducted each year to honor the year's best independently published books.  The "IPPY" Awards recognize excellence in a broad range of subjects. Kinship Center had two contributions to this great resource toolkit;  an article by Ron Huxley and Catie Hargrove called To Grandmother’s House We Go: At the Intersection of Kinship Care and Foster Care and an article by Allison Maxon titled Becoming Your Foster Child’s Emotional Tutor. Please click here to learn more about this book and other terrific resources that support the foster, adoptive and kinship caregiving community.
